Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using RentX. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on RentX, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts in Bangladesh.
These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the RentX website, mobile application, rent payment settlement system, and loyalty rewards network.
2. Scope of Services & Platform Role
RentX acts as a digital fintech facilitator enabling tenants to pay rent online, earn reward points, and allow landowners to track rental receivables automatically.
RentX is NOT a property real estate broker, landlord, or tenant representative. We do not inspect physical properties, nor do we assume liability for landlord-tenant lease disputes.
3. Rent Payment Terms & Settlements
When submitting a rent payment request through RentX:
- Authorization: You authorize RentX to process the designated rent amount using your selected MFS or card payment gateway.
- Settlement Timeline: Standard rent payouts to landowners are disbursed within 24 to 48 business hours upon payment confirmation.
- Accuracy of Details: You are solely responsible for ensuring the correct receiver account numbers, property address, and payment amounts.
- Processing Fees: Any service or gateway processing fees will be transparently disclosed before payment submission.
4. RentX Rewards & Voucher Rules
Reward points earned from monthly rent payments have no cash equivalent value and can only be redeemed through authorized RentX Merchant Partners.
Points Accumulation: RentX points are credited to your account upon verified payment completion.
Expiration & Transferability: Points are non-transferable between users and may expire if unredeemed after 12 calendar months.
5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Using RentX for money laundering, illegal financial transactions, or credit card cash-out schemes.
- Submitting fraudulent lease agreements, fake NID documents, or unauthorized receiver account credentials.
- Attempting to breach, reverse engineer, or compromise the technical security of RentX platforms.
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted under Bangladesh laws, RentX shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party payment gateway downtime or bank delays.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal action or dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
